Rachel Santarsiero

President

I think my favorite AXiD memory isn't any one moment in particular, but so many smaller moments that make up my immense passion and love for this chapter. I wouldn't be who I am without the support of all my sisters and the unforgettable experiences we have had together these past few years.

My favorite AXiD memory was attending the Autism Speaks Walk this year. Being able to interact with Autistic children and their families and see how Autism Speaks and I have the ability to impact their daily lives was truly inspiring. All of the fundraising and volunteering that we do plays a huge role in helping those families, and I was fortunate enough to experience how much.

Big little reveal is my favorite AXiD memory. When I got my big, I instantly felt a sense of belonging and new I could confide in her no matter once. Now that I have been on the other side of the cardboard box (the bigs always jump out of cardboard boxes to surprise the littles) I can appreciate the big little relationship so much more. It isn't a one way street. I have learned just as much from my little as I have from my big and nothing can beat the excitement of reveal.
